The more HP it puts out, the more tortional deflection the crank experiences. THere are a number of guys out there with NA's running UD pulleys forever without problems, but, those cranks are only being subjected to 200 ft/lbs of torque too. High HP Z's making 400ft/lbs should be more careful of this. The stock pulley is designed to minimize crankshaft resonation and it does that for only about a 10HP loss. Its just not worth it when you are making 400+HP to get 10HP more at that kind of sacrifice.
